Train Features
The Baghdad-Basra train is a Chinese-built, air-conditioned model with power cars at both ends, featuring 4-berth and 2-berth sleeper compartments, standard seating, and a buffet car. Despite being built in 2015, desert dust and occasional stone-throwing have caused some windows to crack. The sleeping cars are separate from the seating area.
